PETALING JAYA: Lack of preparation and poor team strategies were the cause behind national racer Mohd Zaqhwan Zaidi’s (pic) sluggish start in his rookie season in the World Superbike Champion­ship.

The 29-year-old, who won the 2022 Asian Road Racing Cham­pionship (ARRC) title, had a poor start to his debut season in the superbike category during the first round at the Philip Island Circuit in Australia last week.
