Speedy Tigers' hopes of making it to World Cup fade after 7-1 mauling by England

PETALING JAYA: The national hockey team’s hopes of making it to the World Cup are dwindling after they fell 7-1 to England in the semi-finals of the Qualifiers in Ismailia, Egypt, on Friday (March 6).

The Speedy Tigers will now have to fight for third place against either Pakistan or Japan on Saturday (March 7) to secure a spot at the World Cup in Holland and Belgium in August.
