Seasoned campaigner Hafizuddin keeps it tight at the back for Speedy Tigers


Safe hands: Hafizuddin said the national hockey team are recounting lessons from the Sultan Azlan Shah Cup in November as they prepare for the World Cup Qualifiers.

PETALING JAYA: Experienced national hockey goalkeeper Hafizuddin Othman hopes extra preparations and learning from past experiences will give them the edge at the World Cup Qualifiers in Ismailia, Egypt, starting on Sunday.

The Speedy Tigers are aiming to secure a ticket to the World Cup in Belgium and Holland in August, and Hafizuddin said the squad have put in the work during training to ensure their defence is tight.
