IPOH: Balancing elite hockey and a corporate career is no easy task, but New Zealand captain Sam Lane has been doing it at full tilt.

The 28-year-old forward, who works as an adviser assistant at Forsyth Barr, one of the country’s leading financial firms, said life had barely slowed down since the team failed to progress beyond the group stage at the Paris Olympic Games in August.
