Junior Tigers tame Kiwis to avoid last-place finish 


PETALING JAYA: Malaysian junior hockey team avoided finishing last in the Sultan of Johor Cup after defeating New Zealand 5-3 at the Taman Daya Stadium in Johor Baru.

It was Malaysia’s second win over the Kiwis in the tournament, having claimed a 4-2 victory in the round-robin stage earlier in the week.
