PETALING JAYA: Malaysia made a cautious start to their men’s Hockey5s World Cup in Muscat as they drew 3-3 with hosts Oman yesterday.

Captain Akhimullah Anuar Esook’s double (12th and 16th minutes) had given Malaysia an early advantage as they led but Oman finished stronger to snatch the draw in Group D.
