Marhan: No point looking beyond the friendlies in New Zealand

KUALA LUMPUR: As far as Speedy Tigers captain Marhan Jalil (pic) is concerned, friendly matches against New Zealand from Dec 6-18 in Auckland will not affect their chances in the FIH Olympic Qualifiers in Oman next month.

New Zealand are one of the teams who will be vying for the three spots for the 2024 Paris Olympics at the Muscat qualifiers from Jan 13-21 and concerns have been raised that playing the Oceanian team may expose Malaysia’s tactics to them.
