PHNOM PENH: Malaysia maintained their dominance in the SEA Games men's field hockey, beating Singapore 3-0 to win gold at the Morodok National Sports Complex on Tuesday (May 16).
Defender Amirul Hamizan Azahar scored a double after deflecting a penalty corner in the 16th minute and converting a penalty stroke in the 38th minute.
Alfarico Lance Liau Jr scored the third goal in the 48th minute, and shut out Singapore's fightback.
It was Malaysia's 31st gold medal in Phnom Penh.
