Indonesia shock Malaysia to win first indoor hockey gold

PHNOM PENH: Favourites Malaysia collapsed in the last three minutes to fall to a stunning defeat by Indonesia in a penalty shootout at the Dinasaur Park Phnom Park on Sunday (May 7).

Malaysia were leading 3-0 by the third quarter but Indonesia, coached by former national coach K. Dharmaraj, rebounded strongly to score three goals in the fourth quarter to level the score 3-3 and force the penalty shootout.
