Punishment of hockey player for racist remark a lesson to all athletes

PETALING JAYA: The decision to punish national woman hockey player Hanis Nadiah Onn should serve as a lesson to all athletes.

The 26-year-old Hanis will miss the chance to win a SEA Games gold after she was suspended from all international competitions including the Cambodia SEA Games in May for making an offensive racist remark during the recent A.R. Rahman concert at the National Stadium in Bukit Jalil.
