Malaysia’s late strike not enough to keep France at bay


PETALING JAYA: Malaysia’s fightback in the fourth quarter proved too late as France won 3-2 in the international hockey friendly in Waterloo, Belgium.

Two quick goals by the world No. 11 in the first (penalty corner) and fourth (field goal) minutes left the Speedy Tigers shell-shocked in their third match of the Tour of Belgium at the Waterloo Ducks Hockey Club.
