MercedesTrophy back on track

MERCEDES-Benz Malaysia announces the return of the MercedesTrophy – celebrating its 35th edition.

The tournament is for customers to engage with the brand in a unique way, through their love for golf.

The MercedesTrophy is a global amateur golf series, exclusively for Mercedes-Benz customers in Malaysia, who share a passion for the sport.

With over 60,000 golfers from more than 60 countries participating each year, it remains one of the biggest events on the annual calendar.

This year’s competition will feature four qualifying rounds – the first taking place at the Tropicana Golf and Country Club in Selangor on May 27.

The winners of each round will then advance to the national final, which will be held at Els Club Desaru Coast in Johor on June 19.

The top three finalists form the national final in each category, based on the highest stableford points, will qualify for the MercedesTrophy World Final.

This event will take place from Sept 28 to Oct 2 in Stuttgart, Germany.

In celebration of precision and excellence, the first player to achieve a hole-in-one on either of the two designated par-3 holes at each venue will receive a Mercedes-Benz EQE 350+ Electric Art Line, valued at RM 379,888.

Additionally, the “Drive to the Major” contest will take place.

The finalist with the straightest drive or closest to the line at the MercedesTrophy national final will win an all-expenses-paid trip to the British Open from July 16 to 21.

Other prizes include Mercedes-Benz merchandise and a selection of novelty gifts.
