Lucky Ashley gets Aussie scholarship after AmBank SportExcel win

PETALING JAYA: National junior Ashley Lau Jen Wen has landed herself a lucrative one-year scholarship worth A$42,000 (RM129,250) at the Hills International Golf Academy in Australia.

The 15-year-old Ashley secured the place at the academy after beating 2013 Myanmar SEA Games champion Princess Mary Superal in the second playoff hole to win the girls’ 15-18 category title of the AmBank SportExcel International Junior Golf Championships.
