Westwood’s back for a ‘double’ at CIMB Classic


PETALING JAYA: Five months after triumphing in the Malaysian Open, former world No. 1 Lee Westwood will take a shot at a grand double in Kuala Lumpur as he has confirmed his debut in the US$7mil (RM22.63mil) CIMB Classic from Oct 30-Nov 2.

The organisers announced on Friday that two-time PGA Tour winner Westwood will be joined by defending champion Ryan Moore, world No. 3 Sergio Garcia and newly-crowned FedEx Cup champion Billy Horschel at the Kuala Lumpur Golf and Country Club (KLGCC) next month.
