THE Malaysian golf industry lost two likeable characters and veteran administrators this week: Datuk Wira A. S. Khamis and Ahmad Kushairy Ghani. They were both 75.
In addressing Khamis’ passing, the Malaysian Golf Association said they “mourn the loss of Datuk Wira A. S. Khamis, our former honorary secretary, who served from 2003 to 2007. He leaves behind a legacy of dedication and excellence that greatly benefitted the Malaysian golfing community.
