KUALA LUMPUR: Jhonnel Ababa of the Philippines stormed to the top of the leaderboard after the third round of the PGM Tour’s Penang Championship at the Penang Golf Club.

The 30-year-old carded a sizzling seven-under 65 to go to 15-under 201 for a three-stroke lead over Thai Atthaphon Sriboonkaew in the RM170,000 tournament day.
