Soccer-Trabzonspor set to sign Fabinho on free transfer

Aug 24 (Reuters) - ⁠Fabinho is set ⁠to link up with ‌ex-Liverpool teammate Mohamed Salah at Trabzonspor after the Turkish ​Super Lig side ⁠posted a ⁠photo of the 32-year-old Brazilian ⁠wearing ‌their kit onboard a ⁠private jet.

"A familiar face is ​waiting ‌for me in Trabzon" ⁠said Fabinho ​in the Trabzonspor social media post.

Fabinho joined ⁠Saudi Arabia's Al ​Ittihad in 2023 after his five-year stint at ⁠Liverpool and is now a free agent.

Egyptian forward Salah also joined ​Trabzonspor as ⁠a free agent earlier ​this month.
