JDT's Bergson Da Silva takes throne as Super League's all-time top goalscorer

PETALING JAYA: Johor Darul Ta'zim's (JDT) Brazilian striker Bergson Da Silva has etched his name into Malaysian football history as the Super League's all-time top goalscorer.

The 34-year-old broke the long-standing record after netting JDT's sixth goal in the 61st minute against Sabah.

That strike took his league tally to 107 goals, surpassing the previous mark of 106 set by Indra Putra Mahayuddin.

The match ended with an 8-0 win for JDT.
