PETALING JAYA: Pre-season results are usually not a true measure of a team’s capabilities, but in Selangor’s case, there is cause for concern as the team still appear to be struggling to find their rhythm before their season opener against giants Johor Darul Ta’zim (JDT) in the Charity Shield on Aug 8.

Selangor’s pre-season struggles continued on Sunday when they were held to a goalless draw by Asia Warriors – a side made up of former regional stars, many of whom are past their prime.
