Soccer-Swedish top-flight match halted by faulty sprinklers

(Reuters) -The Swedish women's top-tier match between hosts Vittsjo and Djurgarden on Friday was suspended after the pitch sprinklers came on mid-game.

Vittsjo were building an attack seeking an equaliser after going 2-1 down when the action was halted with water pouring out of the sprinklers.

"Now there's suddenly a water war on the pitch," the TV commentator said.

The game restarted and Djurgarden hung on for a 2-1 victory to move top of the Damallsvenskan table.
