Saddil backs Sabah to end winless streak

PETALING JAYA: After four hiccups in a row, the Rhinos are thirsty for a win to boost their push for third spot in the Super League.

Sabah winger Saddil Ramdani believes they can bounce back to winning ways when they face Terengganu at the Sultan Mizan Stadium in Gong Badak on March 7.

The Borneo side have yet to record a win after losing one and drawing three of their last four matches, the most recent being a 0-0 draw with Selangor.

Saddil said they deserved a win against Selangor but were let down by some hard luck.

They even had a penalty by Darren Lok saved.

‘’It was frustrating not to get full points in that game, going by how well we played. I could say the same for the previous games. But something has to change, especially when we keep playing well,’’ said the 26-year-old Indonesian international.

Sabah are third in the league with 35 points from 20 games.
