MADRID (Reuters) - Valencia striker Rafa Mir on Thursday categorically denied having committed sexual assault, a day after his conditional release from custody pending an investigation, and asked for his presumption of innocence to be respected.

Police arrested Mir, 27, on Monday after a woman filed a complaint against him, and he testified before a judge on Wednesday.
