Soccer-Celtic sign Denmark goalkeeper Schmeichel

(Reuters) - Celtic have signed Denmark goalkeeper Kasper Schmeichel on a one-year deal, the Scottish champions said on Thursday.

Denmark's captain, who recently played in the European Championship, joins Celtic as a free agent after spending last season with Anderlecht in Belgium.
