Lee Tae-min celebrates his first goal against Kedah. – Perak FC
PETALING JAYA: It looks like Perak has unearthed a South Korean star after winger Lee Tae-min starred in Perak’s shock 2-0 Super League win against Kedah at the Darulaman Stadium in Alor Setar on Friday (May 24).
The 21-year-old scored two beautiful goals in the 16th and 77th minute to help the Seladang get their first win of the season.
His first goal came after receiving a superb long ball from captain and midfielder Luciano Guaycochea. He finished if off by scoring in between the legs of Kedah’s goalkeeper Kalamullah Al-Hafiz.
The second was a superb team goal initiated by substitute striker Clayton Silva when he made several interplays with other Perak players and handed it on a silver platter for Tae-min to finish it off.
It is back to the drawing board for Kedah, who suffered their second successive defeat in the league after losing to Selangor 0-1 last weekend.
In another Super League fixture, Terengganu thrashed Kelantan 3-0 at the Sultan Mizan Stadium in Gong Badak, with goals from Ismaheel Akinade (36th), Nurillo Tukhtasinov (45th), and Manuel Ott (47th).
