Winger Al-Mardi takes off at the right place and time with Canaries


PETALING JAYA: Kedah’s new Jordanian winger Mahmoud Al-Mardi (pic) has chosen the right place and time to take flight with the Canaries.

The 29-year-old fired a brace in Kedah’s 3-1 win over Sarawak United at the Darulaman Stadium on Tuesday. Al-Mardi struck in the ninth and 80th minutes, with Ronald Ngah also on target in the 79th minute. Sarawak replied through Uche Agba in the 54th minute.
