The night Hodak’s tactical plan suited KL to a T against JDT

I came, I saw and KL conquered: The writer at the National Stadium in Bukit Jalil with Bojan Hodak in the background.

I’M a Terengganu fan but I was supporting Kuala Lumpur in the Malaysia Cup final on Tuesday night. The romance of the cup always rests with the underdogs and not too many tipped Bojan Hodak’s side to emerge victorious.

Even fewer would have predicted a KL win at half-time after an opening 45 minutes in which Johor Darul Ta’zim (JDT) dominated, hit the post, and forced several excellent saves from KL keeper Kevin Ray Mendoza.
