(Reuters) - The situation that led to Bernardo Silva's controversial goal for Manchester City against Aston Villa last week will be penalised in the future, the Premier League and referees' association said on Tuesday.
Silva scored the opener in last week's 2-0 win when his team mate Rodri came back into play from an offside position before taking the ball off Tyrone Mings to set up the goal, which led to furious protests and a red card for Villa manager Dean Smith.
