Rozaimi game for new challenge with Kedah

ALOR STAR: Former national striker Rozaimi Abdul Rahman is up for the challenge with his new team Kedah.

The Sabahan, who previously played for Johor Darul Ta’zim II, admitted that he will not have it easy to make the first 11 in the Super League team.

“I have to work much harder and that’s why I opted for Kedah. I like to keep challenging myself, ” said Rozaimi.

“The strong competition for a slot will spur me to prove my worth.

“Another thing that I look forward to is the return of the supporters. I miss the atmosphere during matches and Kedah supporters are fanatics, ” said Rozaimi.

Apart from Rozaimi, Kedah have signed Rodney Akwensivie from Selangor and former Terengganu goalkeeper Ilham Amirullah Razali.

Meanwhile, they have not renewed the contracts of Amir Nazari (Philippines) and Muhammad Shakir Hamzah (Singapore). — Bernama
