PUNCAK ALAM: Kedah are set to fly to Seoul after beating Hong Kong club Tai Po 5-1 in the an AFC preliminary stage match at the Darulaman Stadium in Alor Setar on Tuesday (Jan 21).
Ivorian striker Kipre Tchetche was lethal for the Red Eagles as he scored a hat-trick (Third minute, 21st and 90th) while national winger Hadin Azman bagged a double (66th and 47th) to sink Tai Po, who were left with ten men after Sun Ming Him was sent off in the 34th minute.
The Green Warriors' consolation goal was scored by Chan Man Fai in the 68th minute.
Kedah will face Korean club FC Seoul at the Seoul World Cup Stadium on Jan 28 in the playoff stage.
A win against the Koreans would see them in Group E of the Champions League group stage.
