Malaysia beat Thailand 2-1 in AFF U-15 tourney


PETALING JAYA: The Malaysian U-15 boys did the nation proud after winning the AFF U-15 tournament by beating Thailand 2-1 at the Institute of Physical Education Chonburi Campus Stadium in Chonburi, Thailand on Saturday (Aug 3).

Thailand took the lead through Theekawin Chansri in the 16th minute, but in the second-half, Malaysia produced a virtuoso performance and got a deserved equaliser through Izrin Ibrahim, who skipped past three Thai defenders and unleashed a thumping shot in the 69th minute.
