Record 38 amateur teams in the fray for this year’s FA Cup


PETALING JAYA: A record 38 amateur teams will be making their debut in the FA Cup competition – the biggest entries since the tournament’s inception in 1990.

Last season, seven amateur teams made their appearances but this season, fourteen from the third-tier Malaysia League 3 and 24 from the fourth-tier M-League 4 will be making their debut in the qualifying round scheduled from Feb 16-17.
