Johor kicks off MSL season with Charity Shield win

JOHOR BARU: Johor Darul Ta'zim (JDT) started the season by winning the Charity Shield after beating Perak 1-0 at the Larkin Stadium here.

A solitary goal from Gonzalo Cabrera in the 40th minute ensured the five-time Malaysian Super League (MSL) champions defeated last season's Malaysia Cup winner.
