Pahang beats Selangor 3-1 in Super League clash

PETALING JAYA: Liberian hit man Francis Doe returned to haunt former club Selangor when the veteran forward struck a brace to earn Pahang a 3-1 win in their Super League clash at the Cheras Football Stadium.

The Elephants had taken the lead through Patrick Cruz in the seventh minute but Selangor drew level through Rufino Segovia's spot-kick in the 38th minute.

However, Doe put his side back in front with his strike in the 48th minute after a clever pass from Cruz inside the box.

The Red Giants hope of a comeback took a dent after centerback William Pacheco gifted a spotkick after he handled the ball inside the box under Doe's pressure and the Liberian did not make the mistake from the spot in the 71st minute.

The two-goal cushion put Pahang on cruise mode and they dominate the proceedings for a comfortable win.
