(Reuters) - Liverpool forward Danny Ings has praised hard-working strike partner Roberto Firmino, with the 25-year-old saying he had improved after studying the Brazilian's relentless style of play.

Ings, who has recovered from successive knee injuries, has fought his way back into the first team and marked his Champions League debut with an assist as Liverpool ran out 5-0 winners at Porto in the first leg of their last-16 tie last Wednesday.
