SEA Games: Another gold in diving for Malaysia, thanks to Mohd Syafiq


HANOI: Mohd Syafiq Puteh continued the wonderful run for the Malaysian diving team by winning the men's 3m springboard individual gold medal at the Hanoi SEA Games.

Perak-born Syafiq completed the six-round competition with 381.35 points for his first SEA Games individual title.

Syafiq won the mixed pair springboard gold medal with Jasmine Lai in Kuala Lumpur in the 2017 edition.

He was the silver medallist in the 3m springboard individual in the 2019 edition in the Philippines.

Gabriel Gilbert Daim picked up the silver for Malaysia, scoring 357.30 points.
