KUALA LUMPUR: National divers Ong Ker Ying-Loh Zhiayi bagged a gold medal for Malaysia on the opening day of the Asia Diving Cup in Bukit Jalil here on Friday (Sept 6).

The pair scored 243.09 after five dives to win the gold in the women’s 3m springboard synchro.

Muhd Syafiq Puteh and Gabriel Gilbert also teamed up for another gold in the men's 3m springboard synchro when they scored 354.18 points to top the list.

Men: 3m springboard synchro - 1. Muhd Syafiq Puteh-Gabriel Gilbert (Mas) 354.18; 2. Adityo Putra-Tri Anggoro Priambodo (Ina) 290.34; 3. Mohd Shewaiter-Abdulaziz Balghaith (Qat) 206.82.

Women: 3m springboard synchro - 1. Ong Ker Ying-Loh Zhiayi (Mas) 243.09; 2. Maria Natalie-Linadini Yasmin (Ina) 209.40; 3. Choi Sut Kuan-Lei Meng Hin (Mac) 184.14.

10m platform individual: 1. Kim Mi-rae (Prk) 365.50; 2. Zhang Min-jie (Chn) 346.75; 3. Jo Jin-mi (Prk) 339.50.
