KUALA KANGSAR: XDS-Astana’s Matteo Malucelli secured his second victory of the 30th Le Tour de Langkawi (LTdL) yesterday, winning a dramatic photo finish at the end of Stage 3.
The Italian sprinter completed the 189.7km route from Sungai Petani to Kuala Kangsar in 4’31:59, marking his second bunch sprint victory of the event, following his Stage 1 win on Sunday. Modern Adventure Pro Cycling’s Riley Pickrell finished second in both stages, while Tudor Pro Cycling’s Seppe Van Den Boer rounded out the podium in third yesterday.
