Cycling star Azizul shines ahead of Track World Cup


PETALING JAYA: National track cycling legend Azizulhasni Awang looks to be in peak form ahead of the Track World Cup in Perth from March 6-8 after winning the Bananas in Lycra Track Classic in Melbourne on Saturday.

Azizul, competing in the men’s elite keirin final, won in 10.42 seconds, beating Nikolas Papadakis of Blackburn Cycling Club. Bronze went to Akmal Nazimi Jusena.
