PETALING JAYA: Track cyclist Nur Alyssa Mohd Farid had injured her knee in a training mishap on the eve of the second leg of the President’s Cup, raising doubts over her chances in the keirin event.

But if her rivals had expected the 20-year-old to ease off from the starting block yesterday, they were mistaken.
