Izzah in record-setting mood as she eyes Fatehah’s national mark

NILAI: Track cyclist Nurul Izzah Izzati Mohd Asri (pic) is not disheartened despite missing out on a chance to break into the medal rounds of the women’s individual sprint at the Asian Championships on Thursday.

The 20-year-old up-and-coming rider will be gunning for a second national record in the Asian meet – in the women’s 500m time trial tomorrow where she starts as the defending champion.
