COLOMBO, Aug 24 (Reuters) - India rode Dhruv Jurel's unbeaten hundred to reach 503-9 before declaring their first innings on day two of the second and final test against Sri Lanka in Colombo on Monday.
• Jurel made 115 not out, his second test century, which included nine fours and two sixes.
• Jurel combined with Rishabh Pant in a 112-run stand for the seventh wicket to consolidate India's position.
• Pant, who had retired hurt with a forearm injury, returned to score a fluent 63.
• Asitha Fernando was the pick of the Sri Lankan bowlers with figures of 4-106.
• India are 1-0 ahead in the two-test series.
