COLOMBO, Aug 23 (Reuters) - India reached 88-2 at lunch on the opening day of the second and final test against Sri Lanka in Colombo on Sunday.
• India's KL Rahul made 18 before falling to seamer Lahiru Kumara. Fellow opener Yashasvi Jaiswal made 45 but Asitha Fernando bowled him out.
• India captain Shubman Gill (11) and Devdutt Padikkal (11) will resume batting after the break.
• Padikkal has been dropped twice in his knock so far.
• India, who are 1-0 ahead in the two-test series, elected to bat after winning the toss
