Cricket-Australia win toss, to field first in second test v Bangladesh

Aug 22 (Reuters) - ⁠Australia captain Pat Cumminswon ⁠the toss and elected ‌to field in the second and final test against Bangladesh in ​Mackay, Queensland on Saturday.

• ⁠Bangladesh lead ⁠the series 1-0 after a nine-wicket ⁠win ‌in the series-opener in Darwin.

• Matt ⁠Renshaw to open the batting ​for ‌Australia in his first test ⁠in ​over three years, with Jake Weatherald dropped after consecutive ⁠failures in Darwin.

• Bangladesh ​make one change to their Darwin XI, bringing in left-arm ⁠paceman Shoriful Islam after his recovery from a hamstring injury. He replaced fellow ​quick Ebadot ⁠Hossain.

• Mackay's Great Barrier Arena ​becomes Australia's 12th ‌test venue.
