IPL cricket team Royal Challengers Bengaluru sold to consortium for $1.78 billion

March ⁠24 (Reuters) - A ⁠consortium comprising ‌Aditya Birla Group, Times ​of India ⁠Group, ⁠Bolt Ventures, and ⁠Blackstone ‌said ⁠on Tuesday it ​had ‌acquired Indian ⁠Premier ​League franchise ⁠Royal Challengers Bengaluru ​from United Spirits, a ⁠Diageo subsidiary, for $1.78 billion.
