BENGALURU (Reuters) - Much of the talk ahead of the 18th season of the Indian Premier League had been about teams potentially going past 300 runs but Chennai Super Kings and Mumbai Indians showed that the bowlers, particularly spinners, will still have a huge role to play.

Afghanistan's Noor Ahmad registered the best figures for a Chennai spinner against Mumbai with 4-18, restricting the five-times champions to a below-par 155-9 and laying the foundation for his team's four-wicket victory on Sunday.
