Junior badminton league to take centre stage in Bukit Kiara


Fernandes wants the country to be recognised as a world badminton nation again.

The AirAsia-BAM National Junior League (ABNJL) National Finals will start today at Stadium Juara, Bukit Kiara in Kuala Lumpur, after preliminary stages were held from October to December.

Aimed at identifying the best talent among students aged 18 and below, the inter-school badminton league adopted the Thomas Cup/ Uber Cup model during the state-level tournaments, with the Boys team comprising three singles players and two doubles pairs, while the Girls team consist of two singles players and one doubles pair.
