Jun Foo rolls to long-awaited gold in bowling meet

PETALING JAYA: Sarawakian bowler Chong Jun Foo secured a long-awaited gold medal in the singles event at the Inter-state and National Championships yesterday at Sunway Megalanes.

Jun Foo rolled down a total of 1,344 pins over six games, finishing 11 pins ahead of Selangor’s Megat Zaqrul Haikal Megat Zairudin, who claimed second with 1,333 Fellow Sarawakian Tsen Fan Yew completed the podium, taking third place with 1,320.
