Sze Fei-Izzuddin bow out of China Masters

PETALING JAYA: Shuttlers Goh Sze Fei-Nur Izzuddin Rumsani bowed out of the China Masters after losing to Indonesia's Fajar Alfian-Shohibul Fikri in the men's doubles last eight.

Sze Fei-Izzuddin found the Indonesians tough to handle and went down 16-21, 11-21 at the Shenzhen Arena on Friday (Sept 19).

The independent pair had beaten Alfian-Fikri in their only meeting previously in the Japan Open quarter-finals but struggled to raise their game this time and lost in 34 minutes.
