PETALING JAYA: Mixed doubles shuttlers Jimmy Wong-Lai Pei Jing continued their good start since combining last month by reaching their second consecutive final in the Thailand International Series.

Jimmy-Pei Jing, who finished runners-up in the Vietnam International Challenge in Hanoi last week, fought hard to beat South Korea’s Kim Gi-jung-Eom Hye-won 18-21, 21-10, 21-13 in 57 minutes in Phuket on Saturday (April 5).

Standing in the independent pair’s way to their first title in the final on Sunday (April 6) are China’s Gao Jiaxuan-Wu Mengying.
