Rexy confirms new partners for Tang Jie and Ee Wei

PETALING JAYA: Former mixed doubles pair Chen Tang Jie-Toh Ee Wei will be having new partners for the next five tournaments.

National doubles coaching director Rexy Mainaky confirmed that after the world No. 4 pair split, Tang Jie will be paired with Chan Wen Tse, while Ee Wei's partner will be Loo Bing Kun.

They will be tested out with their new partners in the Taiwan Open, Thailand Open, Malaysia Masters, Singapore Open and Indonesia Open in May and June.

Tang Jie-Ee Wei’s partnership came to an end on Friday (March 28) after the Badminton Association of Malaysia (BAM) made the decision, allowing the coaches to test new partnerships.

Rexy also said Tang Jie will be competing in the men’s doubles category with Wong Vin Sean, and the pairing will be tested at the Taiwan Open and Thailand Open.
